Launching The PhotoScope

Hello all! My name is Rick Sorenson. I have been a professional photographer for over 25 years, specializing in, but not limited to, Photojournalism. I have worked for newspapers across the country and have had thousands of images published. One of my strengths has been, developed under the keen pressure of deadlines, the ability to quickly recognize, judge and take apart a pictures strength and weakness. It can be a powerful learning tool, to see your picture dissected and analyzed, for the good and the bad. I think too often we get a lot of generalized comments about our photos, but really, is any of it truly useful?("Love the color!!). The goal here is to help anyone take a better picture by dissecting your photos and figuring out what worked and what did not. Composition, color, content, it is all fair game. We are going to put it under the 'Scope'. You submit me the photo, I will do the rest. Sports, portraits, landscapes, any picture at all. I will not be gentle, I will tell you like it is.
